the recent time and space machine album released on tirk caused quite a stir. received by fans, press and pundits with a bright glowing prodigiousness, we just had to have one final foray into the 12 inch single department. the albums title track set >phazer to stun< was always a favourite with pulsating krautrock influences, nicely melded with some dirt cheap farfisa organ, freakbeat drumming and (of course) plenty of phazer.

the most favourite of italian producers, bottin, returns with an old project. tinpong is a collaboration between bottin and swiss singer joy freypong. these tasty masters were just gathering dust on an old hard disc in venice but when we heard them we just had to get these gems out there.
the first of the tinpong material is a cover version of a duran duran classic. set dials to 1982, >new religion< is of course one of the standout tracks from the classic >rio< album.

passion has always been one of marcus meinhardts favourite subjects. he has managed to secure the singer fabian reichelt for his latest release on upon you, fabian has intertwined the theme of eros and thanatos delicately within the beats. fabian is known for his collaboration with marek hemmann, who recently produced his album with him. >dont look into my eyes< is a typical meinhardt styled club track that has been sweetened by fabians voice giving it a certain pop-appeal and funkyness that is sure to get the hearts pumping faster on the dancefloors. his producer partner andreas henneberg adds his more cantankerous style to this track with his the glitz remix on the flipside firing the whole thing up with some strategically placed strings

for our fourth release we decided to take one of our favourite tracks from the discos de lata catalogue and give it to some friends to remix it. the tracks is sour mood by xpansul and damian schwartz.on side a, the capo of the new sond from chicago, billy dalessandro adds all that funk he has, with that remarkable chicago flavour and a subtle touch of acid. a solid track that keeps the hypnotic vibe of the original adding a tension that takes it to peak time territory. on side b, spanish techno master, alex under, joins forces with super talented argentinean producer leo gruenbaum, aka gruenbox, to deliver a piece of strong funky techno. the deep bass and groovy percussions are the foundations for a progression of hypnotic elements that make this a track a sure killer. we love techno!

limited edition reissue of the special disco version of bill withers 1979 classic you got the stuff, a magnificent funky disco cut with a super cool five minute groovin cosmic section that was made famous again in the 90s after being chopped up by dj harvey for his black cock free range ep. still sounding stunning today, this track will rock any discerning floor and remains a huge favourite with disco djs. the original changes hands for top dollar so grab a copy of this stone cold classic while theyre around. dont sleep!

first gimme! gimme! release featuring can t live without your love by tamiko jones and the super rare cosmic classic this man by phill & friends band. “can’t live without your love” was popularised by david mancuso s loft cd/lp. originally released in 1979, it’s considered a huge influence as an electronic-disco record and is a massive chicago favourite. this record has been heavily sought after for some time and played by larry levan, ron hardy, gene hunt, frankie knuckles, …… „this man“ was a huge track with dj baldelli at cosmic when it was released in 1980 and it has been top of many collectors wants lists for a long time. very rare and very expensive, this sleazy downtempo rock/dub disco cut really is one of those extraordinary once heard never forgotten tracks.

our latest release comes from the raising talent and fellow swede, axel boman. axel released ourvisions best selling track >arcimboldo< in 2008, which got hammered by many big djs around the world. after this release a package of >arcimboldo< will come with remixes of the track from some of our favourite producers. first out on the a side is >brass fanatic<, a simple, raw and groovy track with a catchy vocal and acid bass. starting with >sell your soul< on the b side, axel squeezes in a looped bass and phased guitars which brings a nice summer feling to the track. last on the ep is >welcome to bomtown<, a detroit house track with looped percussion, soul vocal samples and hypnotic synths.

isrs partymonster returns with another slamming 4 tracker destined to be a favourite among djs and fans alike. tymon is in a league of his own as one of the front runners in the new wave of hardcore industrialists and just mixed one of the cds on the thunderdome compilation.

starting the year off with this cracking deep ep by our new guys on dirt crew, the runners ! after their extremely succesfull first 12 inch in the beginning of last year which featured the stunning jay shepheard remix they are ready to deliver the next dose of classic house grooves that range from deep house to the more techy edges of electronic dance music. the four originals on this ep alone stand out and keep dirt crew recordings headed towards the future of true deepnes. but as we are real purveyors of soulfull rolling beats we had to add once more one of our favourite producers in the scene to do a remix, this time its our friend from barcelona soul minority who has gained great respect with his cool deep house records over the past years, especially his latest releases on pack up and dance were amongst our most played tracks last year. so here you have it! a great start and there is more coolnes to follow this year! stay tuned and stay deep!
