Sussex drum and bass don Etch makes his debut on the Over/Shadow label with an EP of full-throttled club detonations entitled The Creeper. Etch kicks things off with the rolling title track that builds up a head of steam with little more than some pitched up breaks and the faintest synth strikes. The flip side’s ‘Henry’ uses spin backs and clever sound design to mangle the amen even further while chopping up the vocal until it sounds like a distorted megaphone.
