Behind Nomaton hides one of Uppsalas true techno veterans. Erik Möller made himself a global name in the beginning of 2000 as the stripped down house musics champion with releases on labels including Force Tracks and Sub Static. He has played all over the world - from Ibiza to Tbilisi, and the audience at the legendary Berlin clubs Ostgut and Watergate has been able to dance to his live sets. As Unai his subtle technopop was hailed by all sorts of camps: from New York Times to The Wire, from house-DJs to to pop connoisseurs. As he now comes forward with a new name, it is very much a return to roots. With Nomaton he takes us on a trip to the dark heart of techno. A heavy-bass thumping heart full of dirty basslines, grinding rhythms and ecstatic minimalism.
